Commodore

I would like to thank the members who supported me in being elected as your Commodore.  I believe we have a good group of members that will be serving as your 2008 officers and I’m confident that they have the Club’s best interest at heart.

It has been some years since I last served as an officer of this Club and we have some challenges facing us that will need to be dealt with.  We will begin discussing them at our next membership meeting. One important issue is the By Law requirement regarding meeting attendance.

I would like to see many more members attending the regular meetings to have input and hear ideas first hand...not second and third hand which are open to someone else’s interpretation.  It is also important that our members who have not been attending club functions, come out to support our club.

We are open to membership ideas on ways to make money for the Club.  If you have an idea, see me so it can be discussed at the Executive Board Meeting and brought before the membership.

Vice Commodore

Thanks to the members who supported me in becoming your Vice Commodore. It has been some time since I have served on this board and I look forward to the challenge in helping to make this a better Club for all its
members.
Thanks also to our friend and club members who have given their support during the family situation. We appreciate it.

               Fran Williams
               Vice Commodore

Rear Commodore

Once again, I am happy to serve the Club as Rear Commodore.
This will be a challenging year  as we need to devise ways to increase the income into our Club.  Revenues have been down for a number of reasons.  Future meetings we will attempt to address potential ways to resolve some of these problems.
Come out to have your voice heard and to give us your ideas.
